At Beal Vale we are a family and as such, we work together to provide the best opportunities for all children to achieve and grow. We hope that our website will give you a little flavour of life at Beal Vale and help to share the joy we all take in our learning.

This is a motto that is lived, every day, by all pupils and staff alike. We encourage all our children to achieve their full life potential. We accomplish this through the work that we do in the classroom and the opportunities that we provide across the whole range of school life.

We believe that when children enjoy their time in school, they are motivated to achieve more in their learning. Everyone at Beal Vale Primary works together to ensure that school is a place where children will be happy, whilst learning to express themselves fully and to develop as individuals.

What a great week we have had in Year 6. We have completed our enterprise week and achieved our aim of making a profit, thanks to all the orders received. The children have collaborated well and really got stuck into the whole process. #BVYear6 #CHSupdates

This morning, Year 5 had a fabulous time at the Oldham Gallery. We made sketch books and filled them with patterns we found while looking around. We then transferred patterns onto polystyrene and printed onto material. We had lots of fun and learnt some new art skills. #BVYear5

Today we have started our Primary Engineer Rail Project in DT to create a tourist train. Some groups have begun to accurately measure and safely cut the wood for the frame whilst others have started to focus on the wiring needed and created designs for the body. #BVYEAR6

As part of the Science weeks focus, Ask-Investigate-Share, Year 6 have been working scientifically to answer questions around dissolving and sound. We have also created a science question wall and carried out some joint investigations. #BVYEAR6

We have had a jam packed residential weekend full of adventurous activity in Castleshaw with Year 6. From canoeing to campcraft and caving to orienteering, we have had a fantastic time and great weather. #BVYEAR6
