Hello Year 2.
I hope you are all busy learning at home. In addition to the paper based work packs that I sent home, work was set online for you to access.
Beal Vale Primary School are recommending our pupils access the Oak National Academy resources to support their learning. Oak Academy is a new collection of high-quality lessons. Backed by the Government, it has been created in response to the coronavirus lockdown. The online classroom offers free access to video lessons delivered by qualified teachers and includes quizzes and worksheets and covers a range of subjects.
You can follow the lessons on Oak National Academy website:-
You can also work on these activities for our Summer Term.
You can find a selection of work set on Purple Mash under the 2DO icon at the top of the Purple Mash homepage. Some of the activities have an option for me to feedback so be sure to check back.
I have also allocated a variety of maths tasks to extend your leaning on Active Learn and a chance for you to earn more coins to decorate your tree house.
On TT Rockstars you will find set timetables and remember to try and set your baseline time by completing the ‘tricky’ studio option as well as improving your recall speed using the garage icon.
You can also:-
Watch and listen to audiobook and video clips from some of David Williams best-selling childrens books. Click the link below.
Remember to share our class blog with your parents and carers so they can see some of the things you’ve been up to since September. If you comment on a post remember to add your name.
If you need to contact me please email firstname.lastname@example.org and in the subject field please add FAO Mrs Brown
